About the meatwagon 249
Flexible, mobile and responsible

The Type 249 meatwagon is specially designed for keeping broilers, rearing layers or roosters. This Mobile meatwagon is designed as standard for a maximum of 275 broilers, with a maximum occupancy of 30 kg live weight per square meter until the end of the round. Thanks to its well thought-out design and compact dimensions, the cart is easy to move with a (small) agricultural vehicle, without the need for hydraulics. This makes the meatwagon ideally suited for flexible use on a variety of terrains.

Space and comfort

The cart features a fully enclosed floor where broilers can scratch during the day. The possibility of scattering creates a comfortable and hygienic surface. There is also a manure valve, which ensures that the meatwagon can be easily and quickly emptied after the round. Feed barrels as well as two different automatic feeding systems are available for the Meatwagon, both systems have a storage capacity of one week, as does the water supply. The water supply is easily refilled from the outside and provides enough storage capacity for a week. The water supply can also be connected directly to a fixed water connection for the first few weeks. The Broilers can take up this water via a nipple line with adjustable water pressure. Thanks to the closed system and limited light penetration, algae growth is minimized, contributing to a hygienic drinking water supply.

In addition, loading bins are provided that regulate the climate inside; these can be opened and closed manually. Optionally, a fan can be added for additional air circulation for a pleasant indoor climate. An automatic exit door opens in the morning and closes automatically at sunset, keeping the Broilers safely inside. It is also possible to equip the meatwagon with perches.

Self-sufficient with solar energy

On the roof are solar panels that provide full power for all electrical equipment. These are supported by a battery, making the meatwagon almost completely self-sufficient in its energy supply.

Solar panels provide the basic power supply, but it is also possible to equip the meatwagon with a heat plate. This allows the chicks to be kept in it from the start. However, during the first weeks when the hot plate is used, the meatwagon must be temporarily connected to a fixed power supply.

Advanced control cabinet for optimal automation

The meatwagon is equipped with a modern control box with an integrated PLC system. This central control unit gives you full control over all automatic functions within the cart, keeping management simple and clear. Via a clear display, you effortlessly set the times for LED lighting, opening and closing of the exit door, feeding system, ventilation, etc. The water level is also continuously monitored and can be easily read on the cabinet. This control cabinet ensures the comfort and well-being of the Meat chickens. The control cabinet is user-friendly and designed for optimum reliability.

Excellent insulation and durable finish

Thanks to careful sealing of seams and cracks, blood lice hardly have a chance to succeed. The meatwagon is constructed of high-quality sandwich panels and finished with a steel wood look, providing a warm appearance without compromising on durability and wear resistance.
